With a Full month has gone by since my October list was posted, there haven't really been a lot of big changes. But still with 3 in a half months to go till nomination mourning, there is still time for the race to shack up.

Nomadland
Still looking strong at number 1 is Nomadland, It's still somewhat early, but it looks like this one is going to be up there well into March and April

2. Mank
Another film that will likely be up there till the end, and looking at all the technical aspects of the film, could still likely walk away with the most nominations and wins.

3. The Trial of The Chicago 7
While I don't think it's as strong as some people think, It still looks like it will stay in at least the top 5, esspisally with it being the favorite to win SAG Ensemble.

4. One Night In Miami
With its subject matter and story, this could shake up to be a real crowd-pleaser, which certainly helped films like Green Book win Best Picture. Don't sleep on this one.

5. News Of The World
While we still haven't seen this one yet, if it's as good as we hope it is, it could be another technical achievement along with the likes of Mank, which could help it in being one of the most nominated films in the race.

6. Ma Rainey's Black Bottom
The early the word is out on this one, and it's a word that says watch for this in the acting races with Viola Davis and Chadwick Boseman, which could help it raise in the Best Picture race.

7. Minari
A film with a lot of passion from those who have seen it, Minari has been gaining a lot of momentum in the time since my Predictions in October.

8. The Father
This is one of those films I could see just being an acting and screenplay contender. It's still in the race for now, but with other films yet to be released, that could change.

9. The US Vs Billie Holiday
Set to be one of the last films to be released in this extended Award Season, this could be the late surge film that will be fresh on a lot of people's minds to get in.

10. Soul
Pixar breaking into the Best Picture race in a year like this is definitely very possible, especially with an uplifting film in a time like this. It's still very much a 50/50 shot at this rate.
